About this wiki

This wiki is created to facilitate the sharing of information mainly on student-led sustainability at the University of Michigan. It is maintained by the UM Student Sustainability Initiative, with the help of students, faculty and staff who are dedicated to achieving sustainability at the university.
Everyone is able to edit this wiki, and we encourage you to do so! This wiki will not work without your contribution.
We hope you find this resource to be useful. If you have any questions or comments, email us at ssi-webmaster@umich.edu.
How This Works
- Each student-led initiative will get its own page and can be added by anyone.
- When editing each page, please follow the guidelines in the 'How to Use' section.
- Each initiative will be classified under a category (see Categories for list) that it fits under best.
- Initiatives in the idea stage are welcome as well. Just mention it at the beginning of the page. You can also include a custom message if you'd like.
- SSI can help put the content up or answer any questions. Email: ssi-webmaster@umich.edu

How to use
Adding a new page
To start a new page, an easy way is to write the name of the page in the search box at the top right corner and click go. You will be given an option to start a new page. Don't forget to link to your new page from an existing page. Alternatively, you can do it the other way round. You can add a link to the new page you want to create first (by editing the existing page and adding [[Page title]]) and then clicking on that link to edit the new page.
Editing a page
To edit a page, simply click on the 'edit' button on the top right corner. The Wiki editor is not the most user-friendly, but you can click on the help command to see some basic instructions, and you can also click on the advanced button to see additional features.
When you add a page, please be as comprehensive as possible. We would like to see the following info:
